PACIFIC TOUR

Get away from the traditional destinations in Colombia by exploring the pacific region. Enjoy beautiful beaches, adventurous activities like trekking, whales, bird and turtle watching and amazing jungles to explore with local guides and our traveler´s experts.

DAY 1 BOGOTA

On the first day of this trip, we will spend some time discovering the charm and history of the center of the capital city of Colombia. It will start by using the public transport system to go to “La Candelaria”, a historic neighborhood. The starting point of the walking tour is “Plaza de Bolivar”, from which we will take some time walking around while admiring the colonial architecture, beautiful 17th and 18th century churches and 300 year old restored houses. The next stop will be Fernando Botero´s museum, the Colombia´s most famous painter and sculptor and other museums on the way. We will end our day enjoying the afternoon with a nice cup of hot chocolate.

DAY 2 BOGOTA-BAHIA SOLANO

Early morning, we will take a domestic flight to Medellín to get to our final destination. Once there, you will have the rest of the day free to explore the area on your own, to do fishing or whale watching by renting a boat.

DAY 3 BAHIA SOLANO-PUNTA HUINA

Get ready for a 15 mins boat ride to Punta Huina after breakfast. We will have a local guide to discover the jungle by walk and we will then spend the rest of the day and night in cabanas at the beach, so you can relax and enjoy the amazing places Colombia has to offer. All meals are included.

DAY 4 PUNTA HUINA-El VALLE

We will be heading to El Valle by boat to do some turtle watching. Some lucky travelers will be able to see whales on the way. For turtle lovers, there is a turtle-nesting sanctuary 4.8 km south from El Valle (a 2 hours walk with a local guide).

DAY 5 EL VALLE

On the 5th day of the tour we will visit the National Park Ensenada de Utria, a beautiful place to enjoy nature and probably one of the best places to see whales close up. Its water is used by baby whales to get strong enough before heading to the ocean. We will leave some excitement for the night, having a short walk to see some glow-in-the dark mushrooms.

DAY 6 EL VALLE

We will have a local guide for the day to visit a waterfall in the jungle, have a nice bath in the river and to see a variety of birds while exploring the place in a day full of adventures. Lunch is included.

DAY 7 EL VALLE-GUACHALITO

After a couple of days filled with activities, you will have the opportunity to be in one of the nicest beaches of the Colombian pacific coast while staying in a luxurious hotel. You can relax in front of the sea or visit some thermals nearby if you wish.

DAY 8 –GUACHALITO- EL VALLE-BOGOTA

We will be heading back to Bogota, where the tour will come to an end. Colombian Dude tour operator will be happy to assist you if you decided to extend your stay in the country or to plan another trip with us.
